The 4L-Trophy
The 4L-Trophy
The 4L-Trophy is a challenge which gives us the opportunity to participate to a unique and exceptional event where you can find a sporty dimension. Per team of two students, we have to prepare a Renault 4L in order to make as resistant as we can to pass trough the rocky plateaus and dunes of the Moroccan desert. Any notion of speed is excluded : it is a rally based on our orientation abilities and ability to ??? the obstacles in the desert. The rallye will be in different stages per day with the help of a road-book, a compass and our motivation, respecting certain passage controls.
Beyond the adventure and the sporty dimension, the trophy is an act of solidarity and generosity. Indeed, each crew has to collect and bring at least about fifty kilograms of school supplies to Morocco, in order to help for education of children who grow up in worse conditions than us. Note that in 2006, 25 tons of sport and school supplies were transported and in 2010 this number exceeded eighty tons.
The team spirit, commitment and the exchanges are experienced in a very intensive way by the participants. The 4L-Trophy became the the first European sports and humanitarian student event.
